Thiso Industrial Automation BV attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy clearly describes how we handle personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care.
Which personal data does Thiso Industrial Automation BV process?
In order to carry out the contract that you enter into with us, we require the following personal data from you:
Name and address details
Your (company) name is stored because we prefer not to address you with your customer number. We require the address and location to send our invoices, to contact you or to visit you!
Email address
We store your email address so we can send you messages related to the service or product you purchase from us. We can also use your email address to send newsletters. Of course you will have the option to unsubscribe to these newsletters.
Telephone number
We use your phone number to contact you about the service or product you purchase from us.
Other data that we process
We also collect personal data that is not intended to carry out an agreement. We do this on the basis of a legitimate interest or with your permission. This concerns the following information:
Work related personal data
If you send in a job application to us, we will naturally want to know your skills. If you are not hired within four weeks after sending in your application, we will delete the data you submitted, such as your cv, cover letter, portfolio or job application. If we want to approach you at a later time, we will first ask for your permission to store your data any longer.
Cookies
We place the following cookies:
- A session cookie, which we can track and use to ensure that completed forms actually arrive;
- A cookie that allows us to see if your browser supports the use of JavaScript;
- Google Analytics cookie. This is not used to collect personal information about you, but to keep track of the use of the website, so that we can improve our website.
Why do we process your personal data?
Of course, we do not process your personal data for no reason. We need those data for the following purposes:
- To be able to contact you after you have entered into an agreement with us, for example by sending emails;
- To be able to handle the responses to our vacancies;
- To gain insight into the use of our website, so that we can improve it where necessary and thus offer a better experience.
We will not use your personal data for purposes other than those discussed above, unless you have given your prior consent to do so or if we are required to do so by law.
Your rights

Initially, in order to prevent misuse, we will only send statements and copies of your data to your already known e-mail address. If you wish to receive this data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of requests that have been fully handled; in case of a request to be forgotten we will keep records of anonymised data. You will receive all statements and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
If you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time.
Right of inspection
You are always entitled to view the data that we (order to) process that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can send a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a message to the email address known to us with a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.
Right of rectification
You are always entitled to request modifications of the data that we (order to) process that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can send a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a message to the e-mail address known to us with a confirmation that your data has been modified.
Right to restriction of processing
U heeft altijd het recht om de gegevens die wij (laten) verwerken die betrekking hebben op uw persoon of daartoe herleidbaar zijn, te beperken. U kunt een verzoek met die strekking doen aan onze contactpersoon voor privacyzaken. U ontvangt dan binnen 30 dagen een reactie op uw verzoek. Als uw verzoek wordt ingewilligd sturen wij u op het bij ons bekende e-mailadres een bevestiging dat de gegevens tot u de beperking opheft niet langer worden verwerkt.
Right to transferability
You are always entitled to request to have another party process the data that we (order to) process that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can send a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a message at the e-mail address known to us with statements or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. Probably, we will no longer be able to continue providing the service in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
In such cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Thiso Industrial Automation B.V. If you object, we will immediately stop processing your data pending the settlement of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and / or copies of data that we (order to) process and then permanently discontinue the processing.
You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right is applicable. If you believe otherwise, please contact our contact person for privacy matters.
